The nose reveals delicate aromas of forest fruits, pink grapefruit, strawberry, cherry, and caramelized vanilla, characteristic of Mumm Cordon Rouge. The wine is produced with the addition of a small amount of Pinot Noir, a red sparkling wine, which gives it the pink hue. The brief contact of the juice with the grape skins creates the bright pink color, making this Champagne one of the few that allows for the production of rosé through the blending of a small amount of red wine.
